2007 Highlights
- Gunallo again was judged best two tooth & under ram at Karoonda & District Field day also gaining 2nd place.
- Our Adelaide team of three rams sold to $8500 which very pleasing.
- We displayed sheep @ Hamilton Sheepvention selling a Poll ram to Allan Dawson, Winya Stud, NSW, for $10,000.
- We also sold six rams to $9,000 at the Classing Classic ram sale gaining the top average of $4,125.
- Our On-property Sale also went well with a complete sale of all Poll Merino rams. Our main auction rams sold to $1,500 and averaged $732 giving value to clients and Gunallo.
This year’s young rams are showing plenty of potential with more rams with elite free growing wool on large frames.
With guidance from Bill Walker I’m sure this will be the continuing trend at Gunallo.
